ToysNSwords.com out of business?

Post by CW4USARMY » Sun Jan 29, 2006 3:53 pm

Hey all,

I ordered and received my BBi zero fromn toysnswords.com awhile back and received it in great condition. I also ordered FOV 1:32nd stuff recently and was dealing wiht them by email. Suddenly I get no responses and no FOV items. Luckily I havent been charged for anything but has anybody else had recent dealings with them and know if they are still in business?

Thanks,

Andy

Andy - They can be very frustrating but they are totally on the up & up. If they don't have something they may not let you know and just try to wait you out until it comes in. I have waited weeks only to finally get in touch with them to find out my order didn't ship because "X" wasn't in stock. As you said, they don't charge you but it is just an odd way to do business. If you ever do get the owner on the phone (I want to say Rob but I may just be thinking BCA...) he is a really nice guy. Strange they haven't tightened the ship a bit. :?

Thanks Digger. I'll try and call and see what the deal is.

I hope they didn't go out of business! I had good experiences with them in getting my F-16s and F-18s.....

Hey Hanomag, share the wealth if you know something we dont.
Are you affiliated with them? Maybe you could get them to answer their emails or phones. :D

Thanks!

Sorry...I don't know anything that you guys don't. I PM'd Digger because he had delt with them before and I had a simple question. If you do find the secret to getting them to anwser the phones do share :?

I did get an oreder from them the other day. So they are still shipping stuff out. Hope that helps.

I kept asking them for free shipping because thats what their website says if you order 100.00 of FOV, but seems like they may have blacklisted me the same way Badcat did some other folks. Too bad, I was ready to order more too :? (hey guys, change your website then!) :)
