2006 Forces of Valor brochure
I just received the 2006 brochure in the mail, although I've seen a few copies on the net. Will they be adding items later in 2006, or is this it?
2006 Forces of Valor Brochure
Hey Ziegler 2112: As I mentioned in another post, I have been in contact with Candy Dong, Unimax's customer rep in Hong Kong concerning several FOV issues.
In the course of these discussions, Candy has hinted that more FOV stuff will be coming out later this year, so the models listed in the FOV 2006 brochure are by no means it. I personally hope they redo the majority of their aircraft, both helos and fixed-wing, and make them more presentable before moving on to other projects. I have no quibbles with their excellent armored vehicles, but their planes and copters are by-and-large stinkeroos, IMHO. I communicated these opinions to Candy, no doubt much to her chagrin!

Hey Ziegler 2112: I'm giving you the same advice I just gave Shin Desetsu. Why not write Candy Dong yourself and demand that 1:32 Cargo Truck? Unimax/FOV is sincerely interested in hearing from people concerning their products, past, present and future. Candy has personally assured me it's cool for people to e-mail her. Her e-mail address (thanks go to FOV Collector for posting this) is:candydong@unimax.com.hk. Just tell her donnieboy sent ya. Remember, Hong Kong is about twelve hours later than U.S. Central Standard time (9:00 p.m. in Arkansas (moi) is 9:00a.m. the next morning in Hong Kong. Candy will get back to you ASAP (she has never failed to respond graciously to my sometimes nasty messages)-hop to it!

I've given that a lot of thought, believe me. I see these people on eBay hoarding the old Tim Mee deuce and a half cargo trucks like they're gold. I know, I have 46 myself. As cool as they are, they just don't cut it next to my FOV collection.
Since you've posted Candy's email address, I will definitely take advantage and hop to it!
Thanks

Hey guys, I just talked with Candy Dong and thought I'd relay some stuff.
1. The new FOV 2006 stuff should hit stores April or May.
2. I double checked on the M26 and it should be back out sooner or later (I've seen a number of stores state it was discontinued)
3. If you guys noticed that the action grade Matilda has a diffrent camo paint then the enthusiast grade, (it was 91201) well the enthusiast version is part of the 06 line up (81201)
4. Last but not least I gave her a list of "would like to see"s. And just for
Ziegler2112 I asked for a 2 1/2 cargo truck 32nd scale. Well, to be honest, I want one myself. I imagine with the 06 release those field guns it should only be a matter of time.
I don't know how much of this is news to you guys but I thought I'd pass it along anyhow. Till next time.
