Question about FOV 1/72 planes
I was wondering about some of the 1/72 planes. I am seeing some of the latest release Eastern Front Stukas with scuffed paint. Is this a weathering attempt or just sloppy? It definantly looks different than my first issue Stuka. The other question I have is about the RAF No 5 Squadron Hurricane. It is not pictured on the back of the package and I was wondering if it is an authentic scheme or just something FOV threw together. I have only seen 2 of these Hurricanes in my AO, and lots of the other 2 schemes.
Thanks,
Todd

There are two grades of FOV planes, same as the armor.. There is the "Action" grade with less weathering and the "Enthusiast" grade with lots of weathering.. I have heard a rumor that FOV is repackaging the "Enthusiast" grade to sell at Target because they aren't selling with private retailers..

Stukas
I was at Target last week and saw the Eastern Front Stuka and couldn't pass it up. I'm not into the smaller scales but every now and then... any how my Stuka is the Action grade and the paint scheme is crisp and clean, no weathering.
The one thing I don't like is the clear plastic stand or base that comes with the FOV aircraft. I think the Matchbox base just looks better, maybe its just me.
