All of the CafeReo Area 88 Collection Volume 2 aircraft have fictional paint schemes based on the Area 88 anime/manga. This is in contrast with the first volume, wherein half of the planes were based on real-life aircraft. With the release of the JWings line of planes, CafeReo has another outlet for producing 1:144 scale models based on actual warplanes. Thus, one can speculate that the new airframe molds being used for this set of fantasy fighter jets will eventually be used in a future volume of JWings.
