Post by dragon53 » Wed Jul 16, 2014 7:06 am

Anyone have any comments on the Eaglemoss warships (ENTERPRISE, HOOD, YAMATO, etc.) that will be released in August?

i know Atlas did a series of warships a few years ago.....1/2500 scale i think? They looked pretty decent and some fetch healthy prices now. This eaglemoss series may be a reissue of those.

i think these will be the same as the Atlas ones from a few years ago. I was guessing on the scale but the look of the ships is familiar. They had a pretty interesting selection, including Italian battleships and cruisers as well as all the famous ships you would expect. Maybe the Eaglemoss line will add a few more to what Atlas had. At 1/1100 scale, battleships will be about 8 1/2 inches long.

That's a neat selection of ships. I'm more of a fan of 1:700 scale, but do have the FOV model of the Bismarck in 1:1100 scale.
