What unit is this emblem from?
I cant find anything in my books.
Is this just a made up symbol??
Its from the Kursk-Defeat in the East.

I.Abteilung/Fallschirm-Panzer-Regiment "Hermann Göring". If you look carefully you can see the Luftwaffe eagle on the crew's caps. The tank's commander in the turret (wearing a Knight's Cross) would be the later Lieutenant Colonel, Oakleaf holder and commander of Fallschirm-Panzer-Regiment "Hermann Göring", Karl Rossmann (1916-2002). Note that the tank (Panther Ausf. G, serial number 121081) is painted in the rare "disc pattern" which means your picture was taken not earlier than autumn 1944.
