1/144th B-17F "Wolf Pack"
Heres one in production:
Wolf Pack - Boeing B-17F 42-29723
384th Bomb Group - 8th Air Force
Grafton-Underwood Airfield
United Kingdom - 1943-1944
Heres the problem, there we're no J-type hangars like the one I scratch built onto this model that was present at Grafton-Underwood. Thats what I get for not fact checking and researching. SO the 17 will be going onto another base while I'll do a bit more research to find a hangar like this (Either Germany, England, France, etc, and then model an appropriate aircraft to it. Kind of backwards right?

Excellent build. I like it. The hanger looks fine to me.

I wouldn't have known the difference.
I recall seeing something like that hangar in the Battle of Britain, though it's just a movie.
Nice diorama, and lots of cool stuff going on in the background as well. Like the patchwork of OD colors and weathering on the B-17 too. Which model company?

The B-17 is one from The Cafe Reo Big Bird Vol. 3 set.

I repainted it, weathered it, and applied aftermarket decals from MYK Decals

Waaaaay, waaaaay better than the Crown / Minicraft B-17 by far.

Cool, thought that's what it was but wasn't sure. Got two of those, but need to put them together.
Both the same though so have to get some different decals for one.

Cool, yeah both my Cafereo B-17's are the Memphis Belle, so one's gotta be different.
I like the Sally B for obvious reasons. but it looks like the Sally B and Memphis Belle are the same numbered aircraft, what's up with that? So maybe get the Baby Ruth from there , thanks.

Dauntless,
That decal sheet are the different schemes some of the B-17s flew in while making the movie "Memphis Belle" David Tallichet's B-17 as well as Sally B both played Memphis Belle at one point or another during filming. As far as I know their fictional and only movie markings and not actual real combat aircraft. Except of course for the MB.
