Done.
Pretty basic survey, but glad to see them at least be open to consumer input.
Now is your chance to give them your opinion.

Re: Corgi Is Doing A Survey
Thanks, took it.
Suggested a 1:72 Betty and Fw-200 Condor.
...and that some of their old 1:72 toolings need reworking.
Not likely in either case but hey thats what I think.

I also told them to revive their classic 1:32 WWII line with some new sets.

Re: Corgi Is Doing A Survey
Took the survey last week. At least they are open to getting some consumer feedback
I put down that I would love to see a 1:72 scale B-29... I mean, if Corgi can put down enough diecast to make an Avro Vulcan in 1:72 or a 1:32 scale DH Mosquito, then they could easily do a 1:72 scale B-29. Lots of different paint schemes and nose art options from just WWII alone - never mind the Korean War aircraft and even some used by the RAF. A 1:72 model of the "Enola Gay" would sell like hotcakes. They have a 1:144 scale version of the B-29 and it would help round out their US heavy bomber line.

Re: Corgi Is Doing A Survey
1:72 P61-B Black Widow ..If it hasn't been done already and I don't think it has.
I'm just getting back into 1:72 after about five years, so I'm a bit behind the times.
Got a Corgi 1:72 Mosquito night fighter and Spitfire XIX coming for Christmas.
Not from Corgi, but I'm planning on getting an A-26 Invader, Havoc and Dog Sabre after the holidays.
To my dismay, nobody seems to make a 1:72 Bearcat or Tigercat?

Re: Corgi Is Doing A Survey
MRC will be doing a 1:72 P-61
On the new 1:48 scale plastic models, they show pictures of the P-61 on one side of the box. It is not out yet and I can't seem to find a picture of one using Google and there are none on ebay, even from China.
I think Hobby Master could do a fantastic job with a P-61 if they went for it... If the put the quality into that model like they did their A-26 (not, mind you, the A-20) it would be a winner!

Re: Corgi Is Doing A Survey
So I guess the P-61 will be plastic? Maybe that will keep the price down. Only downside will be if it has permanently extended landing gear. Love the A-26, it's my favorite twin of WWII, I must have one!tmanthegreat wrote:MRC will be doing a 1:72 P-61![]()

Thanks for the heads up sbd, those Bearcats look nice, I fancy the Jolly Rogers scheme. I will have to add one to my slowly but surely growing collection.

Take a long hard look at the SkyMax Bearcat before buying one. This model has been severely criticized for its lack of wing dihedral, giving it an almost droopy look. If that doesn't bother you, than no problem.

Re: Corgi Is Doing A Survey
Thanks for the warning. Looking closely at some pictures I can see the problem. Having been a fan of the aircraft for so long it would certainly bother me. Oh well, guess I'll have to wait for my Bearcat.Epap wrote:Take a long hard look at the SkyMax Bearcat before buying one.
