My Eastern Front Axis Fighters
My Eastern Front Axis Fighters
A lot of air forces fought on the WW2 Eastern Front---namely, Russia---on the side of the Germans. I haven't been counting, but did so yesterday. To my surprise, I have a pretty large collection of diecast and plastic replicas of fighters that flew for the AXIS against the Soviets during WW2. Here are pictures of this collection within a collection. We start with two Luftwaffe fighters from CDC Armour/FM in the 1:48th scale:

Now, we turn to the 1:72nd scale with a quintet of German birds:

More great stuff, Ed.
Never ceases to amaze me at the sheer numbers of models, and unusual ones at that, that you have.
