Some Of My Favorite Kit-Makes
Some Of My Favorite Kit-Makes
I have about 150-160 kit-makes mostly of WW2 warbirds in either the 1:72nd or 1:48th scale. About 70% of these are eBay buys that panned out, though I usually add something to each model. The remainder are kits I have made, those that I have commissioned and eBay wrecks that I had to repair and, in some cases, totally rebuild. Here are some of my favorite 1:48s. First a P-35:

Among the 1:72nd scale birds, the SM-79 is probably the best---even though I had to fix one of the insignias that was put on backwards:

Good God...
I especially fancy the Japanese bombers. Love the Nell, Betty, etc...

Wow!
Some very nice kit builds of some of the rarer aircraft, Ed.
Particularly like the SM 79, B&V, and Shinden.
Thanks for sharing.

I really like the planes. It's a treat to see rare or less common planes
