Maybe it was a Wal-Mart return that he bought?

Or else he thinks buyers are very stupid.

Yep, switched boxes...
The seller claims it was a manufacturing error, but seeing how these came out in different years, that is HIGHLY doubtful. Most likely as said previously, a Walmart return switcharoo..

Might (or might not) be switched.
Back in the Walmart/21st days, I once bought a "Winter" 109E (1/18th), that was in an F86 box...I can't prove it was a factory "goof", but it was a perfect fit, the tape on the ends was in pristine condition...I still believe it came from the factory that way!
I'm just saying...

I've had the same thing with my 1:32 p-40 it was in an me-262 box I think this is just a factory mistake.
A helicopter does not want to fly, it just vibrates so much that the ground rejects it
