Couple of my latest purchases.

Dragon recently announced some interesting new releases, including some space themed models, and some interesting X planes. Both the XB-35 piston engined flying wing, and the jet powered YB-49 version. Both are on my list to get, but I was excited to see that the fantastic, and futuristic looking XB-70 Valkyrie was being done. 8)

It is my first 1/200 model, but as the aircraft is pretty large, it works in this scale. Very happy that this aircraft has been done in pre built form.

It is entirely plastic, and although not super detailed, it is still an accurate reproduction of the XB-70. The weakest point is the canopy framing, but I can live with that.

While I really like the HM Phantoms, I do like the British schemes that Gemini Aces do. Just had delivered the McDonnell Douglas F-4M Phantom II
RAF No.43 Sqn Fighting Cocks, XV567, RAF Leuchars, Scotland.

Have a family connection to RAF Leuchars, so naturally interested in aircraft that were based there. Gemini Aces are pretty comparable to HM Phantoms, and far better than the Corgi Phantoms.

A good looking scheme as well. 8)
