Really like this one. With a crew a wash and drybrush it ends up a great model

Other than it looks I can’t make any other comments

And a special edition for subscribers:

I would prefer if it could be deployed in a firing position…unfortunately it can’t.

The Scorpion seems to be sporting a rather odd camo scheme. The British Army standard pattern for BAOR and UK based equipment for the 1980s (and right up to the present) was black stripes over green, unless it is supposed to represent some sort of temporary exercise scheme.

A repaint is necessary then? Maybe it would sell easier then?

This month update:

M46 Patton with a colourful Korean cammo:

I wanted to use these for my M47. Just realised that, since the hull is metal, it will be a hard job. Will have to use Trumpeter M46 then. This also means that I don’t need two….

The other is the SU-76:

Don’t know much about Russian tanks but it has some nice details. Pity I don’t do Russian AFV.

Next month M548 and VAB 150.

The M46 and the SU-76 look very good. The forthcoming M548 camo scheme seems a little odd.

Sorry for the photos on the VAB but this one is still sealed, going for sale soon.

I really like all of these. Nice detail and the overall appearance will improve with a simple wash and drybrush although the PT-76 will end up in Egyptian colours.

The PT-76 looks very nice and in Soviet colours will go nicely wit the rest of my Warsaw Pact collection. The AMX 13 also looks good. I see from the Altaya site that the next model will be the latest version of the Israeli Merkava MBT. After that they seem to be doing repaints of previous releases, kicking off with the Italian Centauro 8-wheeled tank destroyer in green, rather than desert camo.

Yes I was quite sad when they dropped the LVT(A)-4 and M18 and included the same models with different painting... Well at the end I will have the SAM-6

The SAM-6 (as well as the M5 HST and the Long Tom) are only available for subscribers. Therefore can reach high prices. I sold a M5 together with a Long Tom and got a bundle of money :D :D :D. I will keep the others to myself as well as the two SAM-6... Unless someone offers me a even bigger bundle of money

Two new models:

Merkava IV

I do like this model. Nice details although it does not have the “ball and chain” typical of the Merkava (not easy to correct) nor the anti-slip surface (easy to correct). Odd colour scheme.

B1 Centauro

This is a repaint, now in green colour. Also a very nice model
