FOV 1/72 ARMOUR KITS

Visting a central London Modelzone store earlier today, with the intention of checking out their post Christmas sale offerings, I saw two 1/72 plastic AFV kits issued by FOV. I had seen mention of these earlier but this was the first I'd seen of them. There were two kits, both German subjects (no surprise there)! The first was of a Tiger I belonging to a Tiger tank battalion in Tunisia. Which is interesting because FOV's Tiger models in both 1/72 and 1/32 have been of later versions either in Normandy on on the Russian front. The other was a PzKw IIIN (with short 75mm) in the markings of Panzer Division "Norwegen" which surrended to to British forces liberating Norway in May 1945. An interesting choice because FOV do not model a ready-made PzIII in either scale. What the kits are like made up is difficult to say. Each kit appears to cost between £8-9.00.
