Re: Dragon Armour Churchill
That looks great! I'm still partial to my FOV one (with its movable parts, working tracks and figure) but this is the superior tooling!

I doubt there will be much "diecast" however.tmanthegreat wrote:That looks great! I'm still partial to my FOV one (with its movable parts, working tracks and figure) but this is the superior tooling!

Dragon is a good product. Before Dragon you had Minichamp. Minichamp is very nice. No weathering but very detailed, but also expensive. I'd suggest Dragon knocked Minichamp out of the box. It's hard to find a retailer that carries Minichamp.

Re: Dragon Armour Churchill
I remember back in 2010, dragon rarely released anything of substance. Suddenly, with the beginning of 2011, dragon suddenly put production in full steam and churned out an impressive amount of vehicles. I was at first skeptical because dragon really needed to catch up, but WOW, dragon really did it. Hope dragon continues to impress with speed and quality.
The originally promised "diecast", however, seems to have been disappeared, which is also unfortunate. Some of my early dragon armours are really well made with a healthy balance of quality and weight.

Re: Dragon Armour Churchill
looks like a Dieppe Churchill. A churchill will have lots of development potential and repaint potential, including all the 'funnies'.

Re: Dragon Armour Churchill
It'll be the correct scale, too. The Airfix ones are 1/76, even though they have sometimes also been sold as 1/72 model kits.grockwood wrote:Much nicer looking then my old Airfix model.
