Ketengrad

Post by ketelone » Sun Nov 27, 2011 8:41 pm

Sadly the Ketengrad has not been made by FOV or previously by 21st. Britains made one years ago. Occasionally you can pick one up at a toy show or toy soldier show. A couple of years ago Britains released a Ketengrad along with their 54mm toy soldiers. Truly a great piece. They released a Western as well as an Eastern front version. It was pricey... Presently at Treefrog you can purchase the Western front version for $50. That's a great price and you get two figures as well as a mini diorama. I already purchased it. I'm expecting delivery this week. I recommend you check out their sale section.

LOL Typing and apparently spelling are obviously not my strong suits. Thanks for the correction. It is a great price though.

I hope FOV made the kettenkrad because it was used for both artillery pulling and also pulling the me-262. It would've been a win-win situation for the maker. I thought that a kenntenkrad would have been a logical step after they released the zundapp. :( :(

They (Unimax/FOV) could potentially do such a nice job with it too... A bit of diecast in the construction, moving front wheel, rolling treads, probably incorporate an opening engine, and a trailer for the vehicle. Put in a couple sitting FJ figures, a bunch of equipment accessories, a diorama piece 8)
