4D Vision 1/32 scale F14 Collection

Post by 456THBG » Sat Jul 09, 2011 12:37 pm

Just added my latest 4D Vision F14 (Vampires) to my 1/32 scale modern jets collection...Now if BBI would just offer some Phantom repaints, the "madness" can continue!

Nice collection of 1/32 jets, 456THBG. 8)

With BBI re issuing the 1/18 F-16, there is always hope that they will realize that their 1/32 F-4 mold is a winner, and give us some more Phabulous Phantoms.

Any BBI new scheme F-4 release would be sold-out very quickly IMO.
The 4D F-14's are an excellent line to collect and look forward to possible future releases.
Both lines go together like peanut butter & jelly.

Are the 4D F-14 fairly solid or do the various panels and access areas tend to fall off

I would have to say that the wing panels do come off fairly easily, (only when you purposley remove them), but for display purposes this is not a problem...They do lie flat when in place...Definitely not a "toy", this is a fairly expensive "display only" model.
Great detail, great model!

I agree, I managed to pickup two of the F14 pieces at a local hobby chain during their spring sale last year, and love those things! In respect to detail, they're pretty darn nice, and on par with several of my Tamiya 1/32 Kitties. I'm looking forward to their 48th modern releases in the future.
