Are these FOV Customs on E-bay?

Post by Fitzy » Wed Feb 23, 2011 2:32 pm

Hi
I just saw these two Forces of Valor pieces on Ebay. The item # for the first piece is 290535774624 a Jagdpanther, and the second is 290535773171 is a King Tiger. I have never seen these before. They must be some kind of custom repaints. They look good. Going for big money.

I have almost all 1/32 FOV models, but I am not familar with either of these two vehicles. They may be customs, but I am not sure. The pictures are not big enough or clear enough to be certain.

Yeah, they are both customs.
Really nice from what I can tell.

The gun barrels are both pointed at funny angles when compared to other FOV mint in the box jagdpanthers and king tigers. This suggests that they may have been removed to be repainted.

They may be early release action grade vehicles. I recently purchased an action grade Tiger I with a blue identification number and a german flag draped over the back of the turret. It is the only tank of this type I have seen on ebay, which suggests to me that there may be other early rare variations.

Definitely repaints. The king tiger is a dead giveaway as to the package being opened. If you look at the right wall of the interior of the box, you can see where the blister has been taken off to get access to the accessories. If you guys really wanna pay that much for a repaint go ahead, but I'll just paint my own...
