Zundapp ks750 Review

Post by Heer » Thu Dec 09, 2010 6:25 pm

Introduction: This vehicle is one of my earliest purchases, so it is one of my all time favs!!By 1944, motorcycles in the german armed forces became very scarce as opposed to the german army in 1939. Their roles varied in 1944. They were troop carriers, anti-tank haulers and used as recon vehicles. However motorcycles were always popular with the troops, especially with the lightly armed paratroopers.

The model: FOV did a superb job on the zundapp ks750. I own the polish version. The vehicle is painted in a standard dunkelgelb camo. Other than the dirt, no other weathering is seen. The motorcycle also comes with a well weathered trailer. The motorcycle itself has a lot of details, especially the engine. The 2 paratroopers included with the model are in a green camo jacket and when they are on the motorcycle they seem to have spotted something instead of driving like they should  . The paratroopers are very well painted and the cast is excellent. The model comes with rifle, machine gun, grenades, dragon's teeth, panzerfaust, weapon crates, blown out walls, name plate and a collectors card.

WARNING: BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN INSERTING THE DRIVER. YOU HAVE TO SQUEEZE DOWN PRETTY DARN HARD TO GET HIM IN. HOWEVER, HE LOOKS GOOD AFTER HE IS SITTING ON THE SEAT.

The vehicle: The license plate (WL) and the paratroopers are evidence that they are troops of the luftwaffe. The box gives information that they are in Poland of 1944. I am pretty sure that the motorcycle is part of the Hermann Goering panzer division( can anybody refute or support this). If this was true this vehicle probably did not survive to fight too long, since the HG division took heavy casual

Conclusion: This is a very nice little gem. I believe this motorcycle was released in 2005, so it may be a bit old. I have to admit that I paid a high price ($24.99) because of my impulses!!Overall it is a very nice vehicle and I strongly urge you to get it!! You won't be dissappointed!! :D

Nice review. It's a nice piece but pretty hard to find nowadays.
