I have this one on pre order as well, but looks like Skyraider will be getting his first.

The first F-102 done, and glad that HM is doing this one. Plus they will be completing the Century series in the near future. 8)

The first F-102. Alaskan Air Command.

Just got my F-102. 8)

Very nice, and even though I was prepared, surprised at how large it is.

Another great release from HM, who really are on top of their game right now. And the Alaskan Air Command colours are what I think of when I think Cold War interceptor.

Some members think this F-102 is "model of the year". I give that to the HM F-111, but this is a great model. Only complaint is that the weapons bay can't be open when displayed on the stand. A real shame. But other HM releases have this same problem. Kind of wish they would do something about this "oversight".

But I have seen pics of this model on a Witty stand, and it looks awesome.

Flyingmule has Witty stands for the F-104, F-15, F-16, F/A-18, etc. for $7.99 each. Diecastairplane.com has the Witty stands for $7.95.

F-104 stand.

Not mine, but the best use I have seen of a Witty stand in a long time. Apparently, you just need to file down the cradle a little bit, to get the right fit. Make some room for the hook, and get the exhaust nozzle to line up. Not hard.

I wish Hobby Master would release stands so the belly weapons can be displayed.

I bet Witty must be wondering why the sudden fantastic sales they are doing on their various stands
