I've got one on preorder from TheFlyingMule and can't wait! Glad to know they are arriving now
The local ANG unit (144 TFW) in my hometown of Fresno, Ca flew these from 1964 to 1974 and there has been one on display in the museum out in front of their base for years.

Re: another home run from HM the new Delta Dagger
Got my F-102 yesterday and can only say that Hobby Master just keeps raising the bar with their models
They really captured the look of the F-102 and the plane simply looks "fast" whether on the stand or sitting on its gear. The missile bay on the F-102 is fantastically detailed as well with its six Falcon air to air missiles on detailed pylons, polking out from the bay doors. The model's tooling and detail are supurb and it is quite solid in construction. It is really surprising just how large the F-102 really is when placed next to other models of period jets. Certainly bigger than an F-4 Phantom.
I like the new direction Hobby Master is taking with their landing gear and other components which are tooled all as one part that easily clicks into the fuselage instead of having lots of seperate struts and doors as was done on earlier HM toolings. The missile bay also comes complete as one part that simply inserts into the large space on the underside of the fuselage. The only drawback is that one cannot display the bay open while the aircraft is on the stand.
Overall this is another original and fantastic release by Hobby Master. I would highly recommend this to any jet fans or collectors that are on the fence. Then again, I would do that with just about any of the Hobby Master toolings
