rarest P-47s?

Post by dragon53 » Thu Jun 03, 2010 12:19 pm

Now that some of the ebay insanity has peaked, what are the rarest (hard to find) 21st Century 1/32 P-47 Thunderbolts and their prices?

I'd say Eileen is the rarest, priceyest and hardest to find P-47.

Probably the same goes for the larger scale too in the bubbletops.

DAUNTLESS:

I've got two 1/32 Eileens for $15 and $12 plus shipping a couple of years ago. Today, I got a "Snortin' Bull" on ebay for $29 plus shipping. I'm surprised I was one of the few bidding for the "Snortin' Bull"---a few months ago most 1/32 US planes had lots of bidders and were going for big bucks.

Yeah I've got one too. It's my favorite 1:32 Thunderbolt.

I was watching a "Snortin Bull", but decided I needed a P-51B/C "Princess" which I got just a few minutes ago for 36.99 + shipping.

I think it depends on the ending day. The weekend enders go higher I think.

I'd say Eileen
I agree. Snortin Bull is not that hard to come by or expensive, they can usually be had in the $30 range if you are willing to be a bit patient and persistent in the hunt.

I agree, just a short while ago, I saw a bunch of stuff BIN cheap. Patience and luck usually pays off.
