the next FOV to be available

Post by hawkonevoodoo » Fri Aug 26, 2005 9:04 am

I received this information yesterday from the good folks (Lisa) at Panache Place.
These items should be ready to ship to retailers about mid September.
These are 1/32:
"80214 German Panzer IV Ausf G - repaint
80218 Russian T-34 m85 - repaint
81011 U.K. M3 Grant - NEW
80026 German Panther - NEW
83106 German Sturmgeschutz III - repaint
80217 German Panzer IV Ausf F - repaint
81407 U.K. M4A3 Sherman - NEW
80212 German Jadgpanther - repaint
80301 German King Tiger - repaint

These are 1/72 scale
88100 1:72 Micro Military Soldier Assortment - NEW"

Also the new 1/16 King Tiger should be available around mid October.

More news as soon as I receive it.

As far as I know there is one container on the way with the items that I listed above, in the first post. Then there will be one more after that and it should contain the rest of the 2005 1/72. If so, it will be about early October before they are available. I will update this as soon as I get more information.

Panache Place has 6 containers in and are going to ship or already have shipped to retailers. The bad news for 1/72 fans, the last of the 1/72 won't be available until approximately the end of October. There is a 1/16 King Tiger that should be arriving around the middle of October. All we can do is hope the 1/72 will be with it.
Talk about a monster and extremely detailed, the upcoming KT is one to drool over. It is Joachim "Jochen" Peipers KT #008 KT
I'll post any news I receive as soon as possible.

Sorry Harry, to take so long with a reply.

Ok, here is some information on the 1:32 planes: remember, these are tentative dates and they can change one way or the other. It all depends on being able to meet forecast production schedules.

The 1/32 Enthusiast series planes are hopefully going to hit the shelves sometime in Nov. And they are:
80023 U.S. P51D Mustang - 363rd Fighter Squadron
80024 U.K. Spitfire MK IX No. 310 134th Wing
80225 German BF 109G-6 Eismmer

The 1/32 Action series planes (available at Target etc.), again, hopefully will be available sometime this month, and they are:
90024 U.K. Spitfire MK IX No. 310 134th Wing
90224 U.K. Spitfire MK IX No. 132nd Wing
90324 U.K. Spitfire MK IX No. 21 Squadron
1/32 Action series:
sometime in Oct.
90223 U.S. P51D Mustang - 486th Fighter Squadron
1/32 Action series:
sometime in Nov., once again, these are not hard fast dates.
90023 U.S. P51D Mustang - 363rd Fighter Squadron
If there are any revisions, I'll try to post them ASAP.
I hope this helps you out. See you on the other side Harry.

I thought the FOV 1/32 hanomag was suppose to be released last month, but i havent seen anything on it yet. Am I missing something? :? I can't wait to get one of those panthers though.
Whenever i see something screech across the room and latch onto a guy's neck while he screams trying to get it off, i have to laugh because ..what is that thing.

As far as I know 81310 Hanomag won't be available until approximately late October or early November. Sorry

So far the 1/72 vehicles is all Wal-Mart ordered, they didn't order the 1/32 or the 1/72 planes.

The Motor Pool received the 4 1/72 soldier packs and the remaining 1/72 armor this past week. I just got the US WWII soldiers yesterday from them.

Very nice set. Includes two fuel cans (gonna stick these on the Sherman), two drums, one wooden sign post (no lettering), and one large dirt embankment with sandbags built in.

The five GI's are all mounted on bases. They feature nice washes to bring out the details. All pieces are made of a soft plastic.

I just got all (4) 1:72 figure sets in the mail today. I'm about to photograph them and do a little review. Will post shortly.

Here's my review: I found the figures (at least the modern ones that I ordered) to be rather nice and well detailed for their small size. Goggles, equipment and weapons were painted well, and the uniforms have a cammo pattern as well. The poses were great, with most figures in "shooting" poses, but also with the pointing commander and the soldier carrying the wounded comrade (giving us a sixth figure, in a way). The little accessories were also a nice inclusion - imagine a single 1:72 jerry can or crate! The figures may be a little on the large side, however, but go well with the modern vehicles. They're a far cry from the little Micromachines soldiers I had when I was a kid :)

fovcollector, thanks for the info. I don't understand why they don't carry the 1/32nd line, it sold good during the first line they carried. They had about twelve 1/72nd tanks when I first noticed them a few weeks ago, they are all gone now and I didn't take any. On the other hand its a good thing, I don't have to go back to Wal-Mart any time soon.
