While doing a little recon today, I saw three new FOV "action version" repaints I haven't seen/heard about before..
They were:
A Winter US halftrack
A Italy campaign Sherman-Olive Drab and Brown (Olive Drab looks true this time)
A Matilda repaint in Green/Desert Yellow
I didn't pick any of these up since I don't collect 1/32 anymore, but I thought you guys might want to know..
Transferred this from another forum..

I thought FOV wasn't releasing an action or enthusiant version this time. Just one. Is there any difference between the 'action grade' winter halftrack and the enthusiant version? Is it just the accessories or is there a difference in the weathering of the vehicle?

Cant say anything about the Halftrack, but when comparing other FOV Action and Enthusiast vehicles, the Enthusiast usually come with more accessories and have better weathering.

I think the weathering is the same as on previous action issues.. It is usually not as pronounced as on the Enthusiast version.. Action grade vehicles look more along the factory fresh line..

I really like the forces of valor stuff in the enthunaist grade with the dioramas included, but in my opinion, they are just too much money. The only place I have seen them in that grade are at hobby town and they are outrageous there, at least at mine anyway. I think they are cool, but the money is just too much for what you get.
The action grades are nice, but I am not too terribly interested in armor. Only the Gulf War pieces really excite me, and part of that is because I remember seeing those pieces on the news and stuff. I thought about getting them and putting them away, then getting them out one day when I had kids and saying "I saw these machines in the war itself" But I haven't yet. The pieces are nice though and I really think FOV offers a nice combination of detail and value in the action grade.
One thing I have had a little trouble with the FOV is that I see a lot of broken pieces on the stuff that comes into my Target. Don't know if this is factory defects or broken in the shipment. It seems that the ones at KB are a bit better off. But they are neat pieces, very cool and you guys that collect them must like them.

From what I recall, the action grade had no weathering. Only the enthusiast version had weathering. I'm just wondering how they can have a action grade winter halftrack. What makes it a 'winter' halftrack is the weathering. It would be nice though if the difference is the degree of weathering. That'll allow for armor variations in dioramas.
