They are 1:100 scale. The size is known as 15mm, the height of the average soldier. The aircraft tend to be 1:144th though. Extensive amounts and types of soldier figures. They have an extensive website. Many online dealers to choose from.

15mm oversized, Compared to say 15mm Old Glory or 15mm Command Decision, have both FoW and CD stuff in front of me right now. Fow Armour, Pz IVs for Late War(My 16.Luftwaffe Feld Division Kompanie w/21.Panzer Support(along with a Beutepanzer Firefly) 1750pts)

I just got the new Afrika book yesterday..and it looks good, picked up some Panzer IIIs for Tunsia/Italy '43..PzKpfw. III L/N without Skirts, Pz III M with skirts and the deep wading muffler, prob going to do a unit for the HG Division.

and I DL'd the Pdf for a late war, 5.Gebrigsjager..which is the first Late War unit I found to use some of the Mid-war monsters, they can field a platoon of the Italian Semovante(sp) M42 75/34 Assault guns(as a looted StuG unit)..figured it would be the one Mid-War Monster set I looked at and decided to hold off, instead picking up the Italian P.40 Med/Heavy Tanks and the German PzKpfw I ausf.F sets.

yea the FoW A/C are 1/144, but I don't bother with those.,I don't like the solid castings.

I use 1/144 Takara(Fw 190A/Ds, Me 109F/Ks, Ar 234B-2, Bf 109E-7/B Jabo), plus I have F-Toys Ju-88, Do-217E, and just got on Ebay some Bandai planes, Hs 129B-2(Russia, wanted the Afrika ones), Ta-152H-1, and Me 110C. plus I have a few eduard kits(Fw 190A-5, F-8, Ju-52/3, Bf 109G) that I haven't built yet, and some of the Dragon Can.do Stukas, both the D-1s, both G-1s, and the "snake" R-2.

also I picked the LW guys cause they are 13.50 a Plt vs Pz Grenadiers which are 18-20$ a pack too.

I don't know why the price is different..the number of troops are the same, 1 command stand(3 troops) and 6 stands of infrantry(4 figures per stand) plus an extra four troops are in the pack so you have some spares.

As for painting, I hot glue them on to nails, then spray them with "The Army Painter" black primer, then hand brush them.

As for Panzers, Battlefront uses middlestone for PanzerGelb, I use Vallejo's Panzer Yellow/Ochre, along with their "tank green" and "tank brown"..but I just ordered their newer "panzer olivegrun '43"

these are my "tank" paints(all Vallejo airs)

German:
Panzer Ochre 71081...Battlefront uses 031 Middlestone..which is lighter. I've lightened mine with just Vallejo Air White before airbrushing on sometimes, sometimes I don't.
Verde Panzer/Tank Green 71011
Marron Panzer/Tank Brown 71041
also I've used Model Master Acryl Panzer Olivgrun '43, and just ordered the vallejo olivgrun '43..096 is the color code from warweb.com

British:
I use Olive Grey 015, and Battlefront uses Russian Green.

American:
I use Olive Drab 71043..not sure what Battlefront uses for their guide
