Cool! I like that paint scheme. For anyone that didn't get the first FOV B-26, it is a must-have 8)

Those are two sweet looking schemes. I love me some natural aluminum!
:P I'm hesitant to buy though because I had both the S1 Marauder and Mitchell and they each had serious QC issues. :?

IIRC The Dragon was restored and goes to various airshows. I think it was July in Reading PA a few years back I saw it last.

It might be for sale if you want a 1/1 scale of it. :D

Hello,
Good intel Rowsdower. Call it strange, ironic, poor communication, or what have you, but I find it especially peculiar when its left up to the collector to research the actual identity of a plane, tank, etc., instead of the supplier.

We had much the same problem with the Minichamps line of tanks trying to figure out, from oftentimes sketchy information, what unit a particular vehicle was affiliated. Reminds me of the old "telephone game" where one person tells someone a private message, then s/he passes it on, and so on, until the last person in line has to announce what they heard. The same principle sometimes applies here...

Cordially,

Incidentally, we posted pix of the new FOV 1:72 Panther, 1:32 Stuart tank and Me 109G-6.

I agree, it is very annoying when no "extra" information is given and we have to poke around ourselves. For $50+ pieces you'd think they could get one of their guys to Google up some info!

ROWSDOWER:

Thanks for the info. I'm going to get the B-25 Dragon and the older, green B-26.

Two questions about the new FOV silver B-26 and B-25:

1. When will they be released?...(originally Militarytoyshop had a March preorder)
2. When and if they are released, will the current green B-26 and B-25 be discontinued in favor of the silver bombers or will all four bombers continue to be sold?

I'll have to agree. My B26 was ok, but the B25 was very sloppily assembled.
