I was lucky to see and purchase both the 2 1/2 ton truck and the Elefant at Target. (I actually bought quite a few.) When I finally got my Enthusiast grade 2 1/2 and Elefant for $50 a piece as compared to $25.99 for the Target Action grade I disccovered there wasn't that much of a difference. I hope Kmart or Meijers or TRU will carry the Soviet tank. I'm not going to hold my breath though..... I acknowledge the Bravo Team isn't the greatest but at least it's something.

Thanks man! I thought the same thing. I love that Soviet MG on wheels. Don't remember what it's called but it looks cool eh?ltcbj wrote:That is a very interesting picture you have there Colonel.

Mine has lots of FoV. Just sold out MLRS' and M-109s, still have M-3 (Grants) and M-5s.

and not at others. Sounds like the same kind of distribution 21stC had with Wal-Mart.

Distribution
Hi,
Before you blame the manufacturer for poor distribution this could likely be a case where FOV is test marketing their line in some of K-Marts stores at the request of K-Mart. This is common in the retail world where the merchandise buyer wants to see how well a particular line does in some of their stores before granting approval for placement in all of their stores.

IMO I think Unimax is just dumping their surplus stock of their FOV "Action Series" line at K-Mart. The FOV Action Series was originally made for mass market, but it has been discontinued and replaced with Bravo Team at Target most likely for economical reasons. With Unimax's FOV Action Series line cancelled at Target and TRU, these stocks at K-Mart are most likely leftover supply of the FOV Action Series shipments for Target and TRU bought by K-Mart to be gotten rid off permenantly. Similarily to how 21CT dumped all they stock at KB Toys Store and Monkey Depot.
From what it looks like, Unimax's FOV line will only continue back on as "Enthusiast Edition", like they were before they made the Action Series line. So if anything, all the new releases from Unimax's FOV from now on will be only sold through e-tailers and B&M hobby stores.

I think I have to agree with Sky Ray on this one. The one K-Mart in my town does have a bit of the action grade FOV: M5 Stuarts, Stug IIIs (tan scheme), MLRS's, and a couple Paladins. They have examples of all of the first wave of action grade 1:72 tanks, figures, and some 1:72 planes consisting of P-40s and Hurricanes. Oddly enough, it is actually a better selection than what is at my local TRUs combined. I recently picked up another M-5 at K-Mart and am tempted to get another Stug.
