Dodge truck.

Post by hotrodrock » Sun Mar 15, 2009 4:50 pm

Haven't seen one of these here for awhile. For the members who haven't seen one before, its a 1/32 '40's era military Dodge truck. I think its just ever so slightly oversized, but still fits in well.

I just found on Ebay 1/32 German Staff cars, and not the 3 axle monster.

Who made the Dodge truck?

Can't remember who made it. Nothing stamped on the bottom of it. There are a couple on ebay but they don't say either. I thought it might have been made by a company called Gate. They make a nice 1/32 jeep thats a good start for a custom. The doors open on the truck. They ususally run around $10. I'm sure someone here will know who makes it.

Yeah that German staff car usually bids pretty high, I know I've shied away from bidding on them for that reason. That and a few other rare 1/32 kits go for more than I really want to pay :(

I believe New Ray made the Dodge.. It is slightly oversized and it's actually post WWII. It's perfect for Korean War.

Motormint has all of these. They have a flatbed truck I really like, too.

Forgot to mention... they are very economical... check out the Ford Tow Truck and Ambulance... $20 for the pair!
