From watching the Military Channel, it appears the Stryker is quite large. The .50 cal is also pretty big......

This is the "BRAVO TEAM" FoV, right?

It looks like crap. I have seen other "Bravo Team" toys and they all look like crap. I think this (the "Bravo Team") is a child-oriented line (perhaps exclusive to Target) and somewhat cheaper- certainly in quality- than what we are used to. I suspect part of that is it is made with fewer "loose" parts and accessories to get lost. break off, whatever than their regular line-up. And of course the parts that are there are thicker, slightly larger, so as to not break easily (too easily in play).

I saw some of these at target yesterday. Didn't see a Stryker though.

I wasn't too impressed. But I would buy vehicles that were half way decent if they weren't already done by them or someone else.

The P-51 looks the same as the die cast one, but the paint apps are really sloppy on both examples I saw. Is this done in plastic now?

I'm not impressed with the 1:48 Blachawk, but I would have made an exception if it was 1:32 (or 1:18 of course)

Is it the best piece of 1:32 armor in the world? No, not even by a long shot. It is still a decent-looking piece, though, and is the best of the new 1:32 Bravo team vehicles. The Abrams isn't bad either, essentially just a plastic variant of the old diecast FOV tank.

On another note, I purchased the P-51 yesterday. Mine had decent paint apps - better than most of the 21c Spitfires I saw. Another plus to the model is that the oversized rocket racks on the wings have been removed.

That said, the plane really is not worth the $20 price tag and I will be returning mine. The Bravo Team P-51 does not have an opening cockpit and the undersides of the wings have exposed screws. You are better getting the regular FOV diecast version of the P-51 from TRU or an online retailer. That at least has the diecast parts, opening cockpit, opening engine, moving control surfaces, and all the accessories. The 21c 32x P-51D is still the best sculpt

You're right about the 1/32 Abrams being a smaller clone of the 1/18 Abrams---the 1/32 even includes the mistake of the driver's sight doors being attached to the front of the sight box that is on the 1/18 Abrams.
Ironically, on FOV's earlier 1/32 Abrams, the driver's sight doors are correctly located inside the sight box.

Both are unique in their own right. I couldn't choose one over the other. However, my favorite M60 is the Desert Storm variant with the brownish-grey hull.

After reading everyday on these, I'm quite dissapointed to see FOV lose their Action series in favor of cheaper, plastic "knock-offs", if you will. 5 dollars cheaper, to be honest, isn't a whole hell of a deal when you consider what we had before. I hope it really isn't the death of the Action series, and just another line alongside it. To hear about the P-51 being even worse than before, well, that's sad. But things change...

The local Target in Houston had some of the new FOV models---the plastic 1/32 Abrams, Bradley, M109 howitzer, P-51 Mustang, UH-60 and the 1/18 half-track. I took a quick glance at the Abrams and noticed the coaxial machine gun is the wrong shape---thick at the base and tapered at the tip. The P-51's blue paint didn't end in a distinct edge, but trailed off into the silver fuselage. Overall, I wasn't impressed with FOV's new models.

Correct. I saw one for the first time last night and I didn't think it was as terrible as others have made it sound. Better than the diecast in my opinion, and better than the original 21C Mustang.

Picked up a Bravo Team Mustang tonite and I must say it's quite disappointing upon not even really a "close" inspection. The paint as with all the examples on the shelf is pretty bad, you think 21st had QC issues...overspray, smudges, fingerprints, uneven lines and the insignia are borderline transparent. Lots of brush touch up spots as well. The canopy appears to open but if it does it's quite tight, haven't messed with it too much. The vertical stab is mis-shaped, the prop is HORRENDOUS! No removeable engine panels. The pilot kinda looks like a cartoon imo and the cockpit is a menagerie complete with a very undetailed oversized gunsight. Also the spinner has a flat tip, kinda looks weird. It's ok for a "toyish" example. Just my opinion. If you're hoping for a detailed model with great lines...this ain't really it..

The Blackhawk is definitely 1/48 and plastic also. It looks alot better to me than the Mustang. Still has a toyish tinge to it but not bad. Didn't get one tonite but likely will.

I agree! I picked one up the other day thinking I would give it a try, and returned it the next day. The canopy doesn't open, no engine, no control surfaces, over-riveting on the fuselage, exposed screw holes on the undersides of the wings, crappy prop. I like to think of myself as not an overly picky collector, but the BT P-51 is certainly not an impressive model by even Unimax's standards

The gear is from the figure sets. As far as loose accessories, the Stryker comes with the MG system and 4 jerry cans. As the tank has no figures, I purchased one of the US Tank Commander packs. That comes with some of the pack and crates. The crates in the pack, however, have no weathering, so I replaced them with some of the FOV accessories that did

The box advertised a 1/32 Hanomag as well. With the current level of detail, I don't think it will be worth buying.
And the new modern infantry sets look awful.

I am not going to swear it off that quickly. The original 21C Hanomag hasn't been released in a while and I only have four of those buggers. The FOV die cast is too spendy to use for customs, so I may give the Bravo team one a whirl. Stuka zu Fuss, flamethrower, searchlight, Drilling, etc. may make a nice addition to the collection.

I haven't pulled my Stryker out of the box but I did put it up tonight and realized it reminded me of product from another manufacturer: New Ray!

I saw it too, and at first I thought it was 21stC repackaged, then I realized it was FOV..it's not horrible..it's just average...really it's just bland IMO..nothing striking about it.
