Yes, it is about time. It looks quite a bit better than the FoV effort.

Can't wait to see what it looks like "in the flesh" as it were.

Yup, looks really good. Makes you wonder why it took them so long to come out with the Panzer IV, over five years after they first started the series with the Tiger I. Bet we'll see a couple of dozen variants and paint schemes, all of which should look terrific.

Then, of course, you have the AA variants, recovery vehicles, etc., etc., that will keep us busy for years.

Its great to see them doing a panzer like this! you can only have so mant king tigers. or can you?

that's a repaint of the cyberhobby pre-built Tiger(which is all grey)

How often does Dragon release new models?

(I would hope Dragon would release a new 1/35 King Tiger with the turret-mounted spare treads)

monthly or so..with several releases at a time, plus thier ownership companies...Concord, Masterbox, ICM, MiniArt etc.

if you mean anything in the 1/35 or 1/72 range. 5-20 items a month I'd say.

Thanks for the info. Someone offered me 2 used 1/35 King Tigers at $49 each---but I really want a King Tiger with a paint scheme similar to the FOV 1/16 Peiper King Tiger. I'll have to mull this over.

I have all the Dragon 1/35 tanks they are very nice. you can buy new tanks on ebay from about 52.95. one of my ebay dealers has them on sale

there isn't one like that yet..not sure if any 101 abt for WaR(wacht am rhein have been done)...I'm been waiting for a Lehr Tiger II to be done in 1/35

506. abt was in the bulge..later stages, and was feed piecemeal into the 5. panzer armee's sector

Dragon just released..re-released the Grille 38(t) 15cm SiG ausf H as a smart kit, this has to be one of my favorite AFVs, so I am interested in seeing the kit in person..I just know it's going to be $$..but the last Imperial/Kirin kit of old, was 85.00 on ebay...so atleast the newer, more complex kit will not be that much, and hey it's not a frikken Tiger or Panther.
