2 new Cyber-Hobby tanks

Post by JJVan » Wed Jun 01, 2005 7:12 am

Cyber-Hobby has 2 new tanks up at their site. I don't see anything special about the Ferd. It looks to be the same as Dragons mass produced Ferd. #60124 , just a little grass added. Might pass on that one; reminds me of their spring and atumn T34s . All these crazy E100 and Maus versions didn't do much for me either, considering theres more paint schemes than actual tanks made.

Seems like they just want to sell anything and call it limited edition to make a few $$'s I don't mind the extra tanks to chose from, but I can't see myself buying eveyone that comes out like I use to do.

The JT looks nice, but again, I think we have enough of those.

Cyber Hobby Tanks

I probably would have gotten these if they had included the soldiers like in the Tiger Ace and Glory, Zitadelle and recent combat diorama.
The CH versions of the super heavy tanks are also not that much different than the regular series.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately it's two more boring limited edition pieces. I thought they were going somewhere when I first saw the "combat diorama" tank, but it looks like they riverted back to adding a slightly different paint job and slightly different base for the same old armor that is already out.

I wish they would quit beating to death the same old tanks, and get more creative. The combat diorama was creative, but releases like these latest ones aren't. The earlier Cyber Hobby exclusives seemed to be more collectible, but they might be losing some of that.

Is it me, or .......

Is the Ferdinand in the 'just released' CyberHobby Exclusive the
EXACT same tank that was just released in standard production
(model no. 60124). I have checked and compared the two Ferdinands
and both appear identical (I know I'm getting a lil' older, but I think that the
eyes are still functioning properly).

Thoughts or opinions ......
