I've got one preordered and am excited about it. My only other Wildcat is an MRC 1:72 scale plane. It looks good but just doesn't have the cool factor that 1:32 and 1:72 do. If it is anything like the BBI Dauntless, we are in for a treat 8)

Hi Guys,

Here is the very latest info Foxhole Toys received from the wholesaler.

The Wildcat is actually expected to arrive at the distributors warehouse the 3rd week in November. They are on the water as we speak and will NOT be here in the States prior to that - according to what the Reps said yesterday when we spoke to them.

Happy Halloween everyone!

I'm gonna be getting one. One day. I know I'll be getting an SBD or F4F for X-mas.

I agree completely tman. I had not planned on getting a wildcat till I saw the BBI SBD. I was very impressed and will surely order a couple myself.

Must have one of these to fly cover for the Dauntless. BBI really has this early ware USN aviation covered. Anyone for a Devastator in that yum yum yellow pre-war scheme?

j/k, I think we need a 1/32 Hellcat and Avenger next...

I don't think Mitch is a commie, but just isn't a fan of WWII naval air projection power.

Should we debate Wildcat variants? :P

I hope BBi follows up the Dauntless and Wildcat with a 1/32 Avenger.

I am thinking of a repaint of the BBi as a RAF plane..if I get a 2nd one to toy with...just need to see if I can find decals for the RAF plane.

That would be cool. I would like to have a TBD Devastator though, and all three in Midway colors.

I'm looking forward to this Wildcat.

It's the one on an episode of "Dogfights" from the Cactus Airforce in the Battle of Guadalcanal.

UPDATE: I ordered mine today from Foxhole toys.

I just got off the phone with my provider. He says the container will arrive by tuesday next week. They usually ship asap, so we should receive them by monday the 1st of december. maybe sooner but with thanksgiving i doubt it.
