I was at walmart today. I saw a 1/144 Spit with U.S. markings. It was in a pack with a ME262. I don't think I've ever seen Spit with U. S. markings ever made by anyone, in any scale.

Corgi made one in 1/72 scale, and I wouldn't doubt we'll see one in 1/32 eventually.

The US received some British Spitfires via reverse Lend-Lease for the campaigns in North Africa and Sicily. I think they had been replaced by P38's and P40s by the Italian campaign.
