BBI F-4J Cunningham "Showtime"?

Post by dragon53 » Thu Jul 10, 2008 4:51 pm

Does anyone think BBI will release a Duke Cunningham "Showtime" repaint of their 1/32 F-4J VF-84 "Jolly Rogers"?...maybe for Christmas?

As nice as it would be, my 8 ball says "Not Likely". BBI has struggled to meet their ship dates on the Dauntless and I wouldn't be surprised to see the date slip again.

OLIFANT:

If it's true that BBI won't release a Cunningham F-4J repaint, that's a shame because the Hobby Master diecast Cunningham F-4Js are selling out---and a BBI 1/32 Cunningham repaint would be superior to the 1/72 diecast in every way.

It kills me that diecast makes virtually every modern jet in every model, color and country---but the plastic companies seem obsessed with FW-190 repaints.

(William Liu of Hobby Master said on another message board that a 1/72 F-105 and a shark-mouth Vietnam F-4E are on the way----I would love plastic versions of these, plus a Steve Ritchie F-4d, but....).
