S1 32x Spitfire is out

Post by vmf214 » Tue May 27, 2008 11:24 am

The S1 scheme is William Dunn of 71 Eagle sqn 1941. Gray/grn and looks pretty good, few paint flaws but nothing major. Hit 3 WM's and only found the one with some yellow 11 190's.

Yeah! (Happy Dance in progress).

I am assuming you found this at WM? If so, please pick up extras for us west coast board members! If not we won't see them 'til 2010! :P

Looks sweet. Wonder when I will see one? Considering I still haven't seen any of the P-51D's other than the sharkie, I won't hold my breath.

Nope, display'em just like it is..I buy 2 of the ones I really, really like so can take one out of the box and this is one I really like but...it's the only one I've found thus far so it's stays in the box.. Still can't believe I found it. As per usual with WM, the particular store I found it at isn't notorious for 32xw stuff.

So the box says its the S1 scheme? I only point this out because they haven't shown us any other schemes and the website lists the Eagle squadron plane as S2.

I'm still waiting for more schemes, and hopefully more than one Battle of Britain scheme...

Well, in that midwest/upper south region again... What is it with that area of the country? They get EVERY new release and the items NEVER go anywhere else. I think Badcat and the other small retailers will get the Spits before my local Wal Marts do. Oh, well, the plane looks great :D
