Interesting 1/30 Scale Diecast MBT

Post by Mr. Football » Wed Apr 20, 2005 1:06 pm

For you fans of Chinese Armor...I know you're out there

1/30 DieCast China PLA Type 98 Main Battle Tank Replica assembled from over 300 parts. 100% Diecast, cherry wood display, cool.

I found this on Ebay, currently listed for $130. It looks like something that could be found in a General's Office, likely produced at the request of the Chinese Red Army.

Tiananmen Protester action figure Not Included.

I kinda' have to agree - the way that the wheels appear to be misaligned (in the last picture)
implies that attention to quality was not a priority. I may be wrong - maybe the design
was intended ..... that tank would be zig-zagging consistently to 'throw-off' the gyros and auto-targeting in the Abrams/Challengers/Leopards.

Just my two-cents.
