Dragon Lt. Edition Tiger I - sSSPzAbt. 101 - #60148

Post by lightning2000 » Wed Apr 13, 2005 7:52 am

Hello All,
We just received our shipment of the #60148 ltd. edition Tiger I tank from the sSSPzAbt. 101. Looks like Cyber Hobby is using the acrylic cases instead of the metal tins probably as a means of reducing manufacturing costs. The painted base is a little chintzy but it should sell well nonetheless...

Shipping Notifications

Post by lightning2000 » Wed Apr 13, 2005 9:20 am

We dont receive pre-ship notifications because we choose their "Courier Service" option instead of their default shipping option. It gets delivered via UPS (morning delivery) and seems to be getting here faster than FedEx. Dont know why, but we're not complaining given the fact that we were charged for these items weeks ago...

Hey Football, if you get the time could you post some pics of the new Kursk Tiger? I've seen different ones on the internet (ebay) but would like to see it in more detail and maybe better pics :). Thanks!

Just received two (2) cases of the Schwere sPzAbt 101 - nice tank, and the rear-mountable radio antenna is a nice addition. A lil' inferior displaybase - I agree, but a nice replica..

Question, does it look exactly like the other four "101's"? The three or four Wittmann in Normandy releases (dual collection, death tank, and bocage) and the regular edition? Or are there any other differences?

Easy 8 - I'll post some up as soon as I get a free moment.

Very, very similar to the previous tank replicas - the radio antenna that mounts behind the turret is a decent addition. The dislay base is 'questionable', but the background is decent. I have i picture I can send to someone if I can get an e-mail address to send it to.
