32x flatbed and jeep
Have any of you guys bought the 32x scale flatbed and jeep that have been advertised on the molitary channel? It is off of militaryflatbed.com. Just wanted to know what you guys thought if you had one. Is it worth buying?

I can't speak for the truck so much, but the Jeep really seems to be one of the NewRay Jeeps that are commonly availible.
I've got a few of the NewRay Jeeps, I can't say they're all that. I bought them to use as custom projects. They're bigger and "clunkier" than the FOV offerings.
For my purposes this works fine. I model mostly modern, and just say that these "jeeps" are knock-offs from some third world country, and possible even a modified/later model at that. I don't think they'd fit in well with 21st and FOV WWII stuff.
That said, I'm still somewhat interested, as I can deal with the "jeep" as I have with the others, and the truck could be done as a beaten old truck used for agricultural purposes. Imagine it stacked haphazardly with boxes, selling produce by the roadside. I'm always looking for 1:32 civilian vehicles for these sort of things. They can be tough to find as when it comes to civilian models, no one makes the mundane. I can spin a tale or two, but having the streets of Iraq filled with Vipers and 'Vettes is a little much. I just won my second ever Ebay auction, for a 1:32 Land Rover S.W.B. It will need some work, but at least it's something I can fit in...
Anyhow, that's my two cents.

I have thought about getting this also, but usually NewRay stuff is pretty childish. If anyone has one and is willing to post pics that would be great.
Truck, not jeeps that is.
