Will FOV Produce A New-Tool Tiger I?
The model out now seems to be a bit older and more primitive than their more current offerings and the Tiger I is so popular. Just wondering if any of you who follow the scene have heard anything.

WELL I DONT KNOW IF THE SITE I GOT THIS FROM HAS THEIR FACTS STRAIGHT BUT FROM WHAT I HEARD FOV ISNT REALLY GOING TO BE DOING ANY NEW ITEMS FOR AWHILE. THE SITE I GOT THIS FROM SAID THATS ITS BECAUSE OF THE RISING COST OF MATERIALS IN CHINA TO PRODUCE THE TANKS AND THE RISING PRICE OF MOLDS AS WELL. IN MY OPINION I THINK THIS MIGHT BE TRUE SEEING AS THEY ARE ONLY COMEING OUT WITH TWO NEW 1/32 TANKS SINCE THE STRYKER WAS CANCELLED AND THEY ARE MAINLY DOIN REPAINTS . JUST MY TWO SENSE. OH ALMOST FORGOT YOU CAN READ THE INFO. IM SITING ON SDSOLDIERS IN THE WEST COASTER SHOW SECTION.

I seem to have plateaued with Forces of Valor in 1:32 too... I don't have much more room for 1:32, and they aren't releasing much, so I think our relationship is pretty much over.
Like Ziegler2112, I'll stick with Dragon in 1:72 for now - they seem to be putting out enough releases to keep me happy.
It would be NICE if they did a Tiger I redux - I would like for there to be late-model running gear and opening driver/radioman's hatches. It'd also be nice if they did a better commander's cupola - why can't they do one decently like 21C? I don't care if they have to make it out of plastic so long as the turret/upper hull is metal like the old version.

Sadly i too must say that i really dont plan on buying any of their new releases (let alone their repaints) for two reasons which are the fact that their prices are outragous now at sixty dollars a tank and the fact that they really havent improved on their tanks, dont get me wrong thier tanks are great but were now on 4 repaints of some of their origional releases and are charging more for the same vehicle (any one remember the first release where you could get a tiger enthusiast edition for thirty bucks? i do). Also with the improving quality and vey reasonable prices of 21st C vehicles i really see no reason to buy FOV tanks anymore.Well thats it for my ranting and raving hope i made some sense also hope i havent offended anyone either.

Hopefully our wish will be granted.
As for 1:72, I have a few models, some FOV some MRC and some Dragon. I just can't get into them for some reason, just like I collected a ton of 1:72 aircraft and then sold them all. The detail is there and the quality but, I dunno they are just too dinky I guess. If I were to try another scale it would be 1:35.

Don't get me wrong, any movement is good movement in this hobby. I must say this though:
Please, no more Tigers! They are like @ssholes, everyone has one. Or ten. Or twenty...
I must have something like 40 tigers in all scales. And damn it Rows, you know if they retool I'll have to buy it anyway.

In retrospect and after having looked more into the Dragon 1:35 stuff I think I will be happy with my FOV Tiger and pick up one of Dragon's offerings for the super detail. Meanwhile I will be waiting on my FOV Elefant.
