Toy Federation

Post by lightning2000 » Tue Apr 05, 2005 1:33 pm

Hello All,
For reasons I cant go into, I decided to give the proprietor of the Toy Federation a call and ask them a few questions. As a fellow dealer, I'm sometimes reluctant to call other dealers not knowing how they might react to being put on the spot. In any event, I cant say enough positive things about Gary, one of the co-owners. I know this sounds strange, coming from a competitor, but I heartily recommend using them to purchase any and all types of collectibles based upon my conversation. And, with the launch of Sin City and the upcoming debut of the next Star Wars movie, they certainly have alot of movie-related products to choose from!

I've bought several times from them before with very good experiences. Lightning fast shipping, 2 Days or less from Florida.

My best experience with them...
If you recall, they were the last US dealer to have the 60001 Wittmann Tiger at $9.99, I put the word out on Groundpounders for anyone who didn't yet have one to hurry up and get one...they were all snapped up by the next day. Looking back, I wish I would have ordered more than one extra... . Oh well, hopefully everyone got one.

I have had many successful transactions with The Toy Federation. Their prices are generally reasonable and they do ship quickly. I also like how they sell individually carded figures (as with the 1:18 XD BoB and US Marines). As their stock must be huge, they seem to hang onto a number of items long after they've sold from other retailers!

The Toy Federation is also offering free shipping on domestic orders of $60 or more for the month of April. :D

Thank you again for that heads up..lol

Edit:
to stay on subject, Toy Federation was a pleasure to deal with the two times I actually dealt with them, very prompt shipping, excellent communications.
