New 1/48 Classic Armor

Post by jlspec » Sun Feb 17, 2008 7:59 pm

Not sure if these are new or just new to me. Found a 1/48 Classic Armor Panzer 38(t) and Marder lllM. They look like clones of the 1/32 models. Back of the box shows a Jeep and what appears to be the WC57 Command car

Someone mentioned this in another thread - almost as if by passing - but your post confirms that these are the real deal. Kind of neat to get some new 1:48 armor pieces!

Really wish we would get a Sherman, Stuart, Hellcat, or some other American armor apart from the Jeep and trucks they already released.

Still, I'll have to keep a lookout myself for these, though I'm not holding my breath for any time soon

Cool! The price on these is right and I have been squirreling the 1/48th stuff away for a rainy day.

Yeah I mentioned the Marder in the other thread. I tried to find a picture of it online but no dice.

No problem Rows.... If these are basically clones of the 32X models, then we'll just have to use our imagination...and think smaller.

Thanks Jspec and Jagdpanther for the pics! They really do look exactly like the 1/32 versions. If there was nothing in the picture to compare their size with, it would be hard to tell the difference

Even though 1:48 armor is not for me I must say that these little guys rock! At the low price, $6? maybe more parental units will let little Timmy pick one up which is good for 21st and will hopefully pump more cash in developing 1:32 scale vehicles! :P

I found the Marder today and I had to grab it. I love SP guns, and I hope to the good lord that 21st comes out with a 1/18 version. Man, that would be the VERY best vehicle IMHO (other than a T-34, of course).
