Where can I get a crew?

Post by Sabrefan » Tue Feb 05, 2008 8:48 am

I picked up a 32nd scale Panzer 38t yesterday, and I was wondering does anyone make a crew for this tank? It is such a great looking model, I was wondering what crew figures would look good with it?

It's been a long road, but I am still in the game. :)

The most perfect crew figure comes with the FOV Panzer IV F in the "Eastern Front 1941" markings. As the Panzer 38T was used early in the war, the German tankers actually wore berrets instead of the caps used later on. The regular 21c German tanker figures themselves do not look too bad in the tank, however.

I picked up some Can-Do "Pocket Army" 1/35 tank aces and wermacht infantry. There was one to a box, they were well painted, rubber texture and the strangest thing was when I placed them next to a FoV figure (used a Pz commander from King Tiger) They were....the same size. Which was stunning.
The model shop I was at was trying to get rid of them and sold them to me a dollar a pop. So I grabbed one of each totaling 12. They were normally $5 each so i got a sweet deal. I placed them in my tank and the damn things fit perfectly
So I accidentally solved my problem of wanting more crew to each of my tanks.....and even the marder has crew now.

here is a link to them, they are very well made and surprisingly a good fit for 1/32

this guy sells em on ebay and he has the panzer commander (supposed to be Whitman but its more of an "ok mr. figure maker....if you say so" situation.)

but I am linking it here for you so you can get the one that is best for the 38t
