FOV acceessories ?

Post by General custer » Sun Jan 20, 2008 6:54 am

I can see there http://search.ebay.fr/search/search.dll ... =32&fsoo=2 , exist for sale FOV playsets with only accessories and display parts, without vehicles.

But I can't find them on http://forcesofvalor.com

Did somebody know, a site where I can see and buy them?

Accessory Sets

Post by lightning2000 » Sun Jan 20, 2008 7:15 am

Hi,
For some reason, the manufacturer never listed the accessory packs on their site and, if memory serves me correctly, manufacturer-supplied images were difficult to come by. The "blister pack" sets shown in the first two auctions have been sold out for some time now. Not sure if they'll ever decide to re-introduce them.

I've never seen #87104 before, which looks like a deluxe set of accessories and obviously more expensive than the blister packs. It could be something that was offered on a limited basis to certain regions or perhaps is something they plant to offer this year. Their 2088 introductions are scheduled to be announced shortly.

I think you have already found the site. Ebay. Those sets are pretty hard to come by. The really big set, as far as I can tell, was never released in the US (though this might not affect you all that much). The smaller sets are around, but always sold out, with little to no promise of ever getting them in again. You might try here:

Fetco

They're still listed on the site, but I think you have to email to see if they're in stock. Good luck and let us know what you find. I know there are a few pieces I'm looking for, but a lot I don't need. Maybe we can find a way to make it work for everyone.

About a year and half ago I purchased some accessory sets called "War Torn Europe", "Obstacles to Victory" and "Road to Germany" but the boxes were entirely different than those pictured in the ebay auction link.

Wow. Cool stuff! I wish we could find these at Target and TRU! I know most of the stuff is available in FOV Enthusiast sets and figure sets but still.. 8)

Thanks for the head up Custer. I had never seen the large box set with the burned out tank. Very interesting...
