Quick Panzer IV question

Post by NHoggard12 » Fri Jan 18, 2008 7:41 pm

I was looking at my forcesofvalor 1/32 panzer IV Kovel and was wondering if anyone had ever taken the turret skirting off. What would it look like?
thanks

[+] > I had done this w/ my 1st. "Kursk" version a couple a yrs. ago ,.. but put it back on.

[+] > ...... best to leave the turret girdle on in the first place. Not only does it look better w/ it on , but if you leave it off , you'll have to touch up in places w/ "modelers putty" and paint.

[+] > ...... can if you want but I would'nt recommend it , up to you.

MG is right. I have the Kowel version as well and it looks much better with the turret plates on, plus you'll have to do some work if you want to remove the mounts.
