Me too... and if I'm lucky maybe even the Marder! Anyhow, I was hoping they would make a Hetzer so this is great news.schizuki wrote:I might even have a 38t by then...

Hi,
According to 21st, the Marder III M and 38(t) are shipping from their facility on the 21st, so most retailers should have them in stock by the end of the month. The Hetzer was confirmed to us by an inside source and frankly shouldnt come as a surprise since its part of the 38(t) family.
FOV will be at Toy Fair so we'll ask about their 1:18 scale line. I think the range was test-marketed in Target and could very well be offered to a full gamut of stores in 2008 (if FOV feels it was a success and contracts arent in place to prevent them from selling this range elsewhere). That's conjecture on my part, but I cant see any manufacturer wanting to limit sales and put them in a single retail source. Keep in mind the 1:18 scale range is a harder sell-in for most brick-and-mortar stores, particularly the big chains, since they constantly review their "turn rates" to see if the shelf space could be better utilized selling other product. Furthermore, these big items take up a bit of room in their warehouses, so all this has to be justified for a buyer to bring in a large footprint item like this.

Dragon
Dragon,
At this point, its up to the manufacturer to provide an indication when their new, eagerly awaited 1:18 scale aircraft will become available. I can say the Me 262 should be shipping by the end of this month.
Cordially,

All these new releases are really screwing me up. I am accustom to:
1- Hear about new release from forum/e-bay; get really really excited
2- Drive hundreds of miles, spend big $ on gas and expend thousand of man-hours looking for them everywhere
3- Piss and moan on forum about lack of distribution
4- Become happy for and jealous over the rare board member who finds the new release
5- Debate endlessly over ordering one online
6- Decide to save five dollars
7- Repeat steps 2-6
8- Repeat step 8
9- Find new release. Purchase eight over the next month
10- Go back to step one
Now I don't know what to do that 1/32 is coming at me faster than I can order it/find it. How should I know if I should be pissing and moaning or getting excited?
Good problem to have I guess!

Agreed!! I have much the same problem, especially now with Badcat having the "White 7" Fw-190F.. I am debating whether I can wait until these show up in stores and pay $16 or pay $30 shipped now..olifant wrote:All these new releases are really screwing me up. I am accustom to:
