King and Country

Post by Sniper73 » Sat Mar 12, 2005 1:18 am

Hi Guys,

So I just received my first King and Country figure (German Waffen SS officer in great coat with pistol and map in hands) and I am absolutely thrilled. These really are fantastic and I am now hooked (for better or worse). I was comparing them with a Britains figure, FOV and 21st century and they are certainly the largest. One other thing I noticed was that the FOV and 21st tank drivers were much, much smaller than even the Britains figures. I will be liquidating my FOV and 21st collections in favor of K&C. They are simply fantastic. I wasnt sure whether or not it was worth it considering the 1/32 options, but after seeing one in person, I am sold. Thanks to all you guys who have given me advice and info over the past few days! I appreciate it.

Bill

PS, check the sellers section if you are interested in any FOV or 21st stuff

Welcome to the club! Don,t mean to say "I told you so"
You know they do not allow K&C sales within 500 feet of schools as it is that addictive.

Ive spent a couple hours just staring at my figure and now deciding which others to get.

K&C BOB

Post by gk5717 » Sun Mar 13, 2005 8:50 am

Flammenpanzer, excellent choice on the K&C BOB figures, I was looking at mine last night and believe that the BOB sets are the best Andy has done to date. And believe me the other sets were fantastic.
You my friend will be joining the ever growing club here on this board.

Russians

Thats good, I'm glad I'm not the only one getting hooked, hehe. I cannot wait for the Russians either. That was one of the driving forces behind me getting into KC -- a comprehensive line of Russians for the Germans to fight.

The hardest part is choosing what to get next. There's so many great things to choose from but they are all so expensive!
For me i'm going to get the King Tiger next and the gun crew for my 88mm.

At the moment i've got my FJ's defending an 88 position with nothing to help them but some FOV scenery! They really need some gunners and loaders to pitch in!
