E-Bay and a guy with just a couple marders and PzKFw38t's
Do not know how to link to the auction but heres the number on E-Bay 160194095723 . Looks like some one has been hitting all the TRUs in his area of CA . I see he is selling A FOV tiger too.
Could not think of anything to put here.

Yeah I have hit my local TRU almost every day looking for both those tanks with no luck so far. If I found out some one locally had bought them all just to turn them on Evil-Bay I would be ticked off!
Plus the stores should do more to limit these guys to how many they buy at a time. But all they see is the bottom line not customer goodwill etc.

Ouch, I resent that! Kidding of course, but I do have to disagree with y'all here. What this guy (or gal for that matter) is doing is neaither illegal or hurting anybody. Kinda unethical, well maybe, but it is business.

Seriously this guy is a c*nt. Pardon my extremely vulgar language, but business is not slapping lame decals on a PTE A-10 and passing it off as true 1:18, and ELITE FORCE, it's sleezy and honestly quite pathetic. The thing with the Marders is quite lame too. Seriously, this guy needs to man up, grow some cajones and sell TOTALLY legit, not half-way. I understand the need for money, but ripping people off is the oldest crap ever and I think people should be publicly urinated on for it...
Same with militaria. People are stupid. But buyers can be stupid too... I always double check things, always do research. I never take a seller's word for anything. I saw the same Canadian M69 C-3 gasmask I have for upwards of $40 on eBay one time... I paid $20 at an army surplus. They were discontinued way back when it was discovered they were inconvenient. They don't fit NATO filters without a screw-on converter and the glue also was lame. That's why you find them everywhere and they're cheap. But they look SWEET. Love round eyed gas masks. I think I might start collecting low-end gasmasks on the side, I jump around so much, haha...

wow Althoguh I'll still stick by my guns by saying it's acceptable (although not very considerate) to do this, I think falsely selling something under a different name to increase the price is totally wrong. Off with his head!aferguson wrote:it's the same guy from the 'off topic' thread that was selling the PTE Warthogs for $170.

I don't mind a collector selling off some items or even a collection. But boy, I just cannot stand the lousy, bottom-feeding scum that come floating out of their flea market slime holes every time they see a quick buck to be had at the expense of collectors.
You see it with hot wheels, star wars and every other toy collectable.
Not illegal, but totally reprehensible. Get a real job!
The only effective response I know is to just not buy from the sleazy dog-f**kers.

I know. I see the guys at car shows trying to sell a Johnny Lightning for $10 when I can wait to beat them to Wal-Mart or TRU and get it for $4. I just look at what they have and then move on. If I wait a few months I can even get one off ebay for less than $5.
What's next? Going to a car dealer, buying up all his stock, and then trying to sell all those cars at a 300% mark-up?

Guys, I agree with Colonel Pickle on this one. (Let the beatings begin)
This is opportunistic and a pretty cheesy way to make a buck but let me make a few points:
1) He does allow those without TRU access to purchase these models.
2) He does help hype the new releases so others may want to go out and buy them.
3) He does help the hobby by driving sales up.
4) It is legal and capitalistic.
5) It does help us as an early warning system of whats coming down the pipeline. Remember the Opels that first showed up on e-bay? None of us even saw them coming.
5) My guess is the poor slob will end up with truckloads of these things he can't move when the hype dies down.
How many of us have recently purchased clearance BBI in the hopes of cashing in sometime in the future? I laugh when I see the Squadron/Signal books someone bought on clearance through Squadron for $4-5 bucks on e-bay for $10, or the Target BBI Falcons purchased for $60 and selling for $100. I have a good day job so I don't bother, but if someone can make a living at this I say go for it.

I guess it's all okay, in reality. I've thought about that stuff but I wouldn't buy an entire stock of it. But if you can't get to TRU it's a good alternative... Hmmm... Idk...
