FOV German Infantry

Post by General custer » Sat Dec 22, 2007 7:24 am

This morning a friend brought this to me:

Always the same observation: these figurines are finely detailed and painted, but the hands are too large, the arms risen, and their articulations awkward.

I can't understand, why FOV tank crew always are successful, and not their infantries..?

I notice that FOV is getting better with their figure sculpts such as the US Airborne with German POWS's (except for ol' flipper Hans of course) and the German tank riders. However, this lot has the bloated Michelin Man type figures such as the MG guy. And why oh why can't FOV use better plastic for the damn weapons? I've picked up so many sets and put them right back down after seeing bent up, cork screw Garands and 98k's it's not even funny.

yup, one of the great mysterires of the universe is why FOV can't make good sized figures.

Theseold figures should be retired!

FOV should be boxing and selling the figures that come with the tanks and tracks etc. There are over forty poses! They should do this after the set has been out with the vehicel for say a year?

They should also be kicking figures out fast as possible. Figures are a industry/product all by themselves. Neither 21st nor FOV trys to capture and rule this market?

Cant believe we didnt see wwII figures in place of the blister card sets of pirates, knights, romans and civil war???? Nice sets but would have loved to see Fallscherimjager, panzer greniders, russians, brit inf etc etc??
