I found a new repaint for the 1:48 Panzer IV D at one of my local TRUs today :D This is probably my favorte of the three that have come out thus far and consists of a darker shade of the panzer gray color with dark green bands. I'll post a picture here eventually...

I found at least part of the new German set at the Visalia CA TRU, while on a short road trip. They only had Set A out and I did not get any. They are exactly the same as the German figures that came with the "Operation Cobra: Breakout" playset along with the Sherman Firefly tank) over the summer. Set A has the running officer, machine gunner, and soldier throwing the stick grenade. I assume Set B will have the other figures.

On another note, I found the "Berlin Express" P-51 at the same TRU, as well as a new P-47 repaint, "Evie" in the same assortment:

My apologies for the double post, but I also wanted to post pictures of the new 1:48 Panzer IV D repaint I mentioned earlier. It is personally my favorite scheme with the 1:48 armor

The figure and crate accessory on the tank are my own and did not come with the vehicle.

One of our local members called me to say he saw a "jagdpanther" at a local TRU along with hellcats and the quad 50- He said it was 1/32nd and 21st, anyone aware of a new paint scheme for this? This particular TRU is a nice long drive away.

jagdtiger at tru

Post by kimtheredxd » Fri Nov 16, 2007 1:57 pm

Found four or so jagdtigers at the Silverdale WA TRU store. I did not like them no weathering at all to"factory fresh" for me. Plus all had scratchs in the paint job by the gun mantle and of course no figure and looks to be all plastic. Price was $17.99
Could not think of anything to put here.

Found the S2 camo Long Tom at TRU in Springfield, MO. They also had the S2 camo M115. Have never spotted either of the S1 Howitzers in my AO but both new camo versions showed up, cool schemes. Also found the 2 new 1/144 Zero's (weathered green and ph version) at a local WM. :D
