1/35 question.
1/35 question.
Hello,
Well the other day I was at a hobby shop looking for some HO Scale buildings for my layout and I came across some Academy 1/35 German SS Infantry. They were $6.99 so I thought why not?I had always wanted to get some 1/35 stuff. So now that I made those I'm pretty much hooked. So I'd like to know who makes the best 1/35 Sherman? (What else? lol) Also who makes the best 1/35 stuff in general?
Thanks,
Joe

I think Tamiya and Dragon have the best quality. I have never been disappointed.

Great source for 1:35....
Joe,
Visit Tim at his e-mail address:
tgipprich@comcast.net
Tim has hundreds of beautifully built dioramas of 1:35 WWII, and later, armour. His prices are the best, and he accepts PayPal. I have never received one of his models that didn't exceed my expectations!
Tell him that I mentioned him, and about this forum!
Take care,
John

I agree that for Nazi stuff you want Tamiya and/or Dragon. For US stuff a lot of Tamiya stuff has LOUSY research, and their idea of production is to keep re-releasing 1970's vintage kits. The more recent figures from Tamiya are good, Dragon offers more variety and their newer figures are as good as Tamiyas.
